Ask Seller Button terms and conditions

These terms apply to your use of the Ask Seller Button app ("the app") on your Wix site. By installing the app you accept them. Your use of Wix itself is covered by the terms of Wix.

The service

The app shows an Ask a question button on your product pages, collects shoppers' questions and shows them in your dashboard. For each new question it can send you an email and a notification in your dashboard and the Wix app. The app does not take payments, does not change your products or checkout and does not send emails to shoppers: you answer questions yourself.

Your questions and shoppers

You are responsible for answering questions, for what you tell shoppers and for handling shoppers' contact details under the laws that apply to you. Delete questions you no longer need in the app dashboard.

Emails and limits

Emails to you are sent through Wix and use your site's email balance. The app sends you up to 10 emails an hour; every question is still saved in your dashboard. Delivery is not guaranteed. To protect your site from spam, the app limits how many questions can be sent in a short time. In the editor and preview the button is a sample; the form works on your published site. We do not promise that every theme or page layout shows the button; check your product pages after setup.

Plans and price

The app has a free plan with a monthly question limit and a paid plan. When the free limit is reached, new questions pause until the next calendar month. Plans, prices, trials, billing, renewals and refunds are handled by Wix under its terms, as shown when you upgrade.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the app reliable, but it is provided "as is", without warranties, to the extent the law allows. We may update the app and these terms. Material changes will apply going forward. The app is independent and is not made or endorsed by Wix.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost sales or claims arising from your dealings with shoppers. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.
