Course Landing Page privacy policy

Course Landing Page ("the app", "we") is an app for Wix sites that builds sales pages for programs in Wix Online Programs. This policy explains what data the app uses and why.

Data from site visitors

The app does not collect or store personal data about visitors. To show a page, it reads the page content and public program details on the server and sends them to the visitor's browser. When a visitor joins or pays, that happens on Wix pages, and the app does not receive their details.

If a site owner adds a video to a page, the video service does not load with the page. Only when a visitor presses play does the page open the player of YouTube (Google) or Vimeo, in its privacy-enhanced mode where available. The service then receives the visitor's data, such as their IP address, and may use cookies, under its own privacy policy. We do not receive this data. If you add a video, mention this in your site's privacy policy.

If you choose a frame from the video as its cover, then when you save the page our server asks YouTube or Vimeo for the video's preview image, sending only the video link, and copies that image to your site's media. Visitors load the cover from Wix, not from the video service.

Data from site owners

• Page content (headline, texts, style and button settings, image and video choices, benefits, instructor details, testimonials, questions, deadline) is stored in a data collection on the site's own Wix account, not on servers of ours. Visitors see it on the published page.
• Testimonials and the instructor block can contain names and photos of people. You enter them, choose photos from your site's media, and decide whether to publish them.
• The app reads programs and their sections through Wix: title, description, image, price, address, status and section names. Wix grants this access only as a permission that also allows changes; the app only reads, and it does not read participants.
• The app reads the app plan from Wix to apply plan limits. It keeps the latest plan in the same data collection on the site's Wix account, to show pages without delay.
• If you ask Aria about your pages, the app returns page details of the current site to Aria inside Wix.

The app itself does not use cookies or browser storage and does not track visitors. We do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising.

Where data is processed

The app runs on Wix hosting, and data stays in the site's Wix account. Wix acts as our service provider. Video services receive visitor data only as described above. If you email us, we use your message and address only to answer you.

Retention, access and deletion

Pages stay on the site until the site owner deletes them in the app. Removing the app takes the pages off the site. Wix may keep or delete the app's data collection under its own rules. Site owners can see, change and delete their content in the app. To ask about your data, email us.
