Donation Goal privacy policy

Donation Goal ("the app", "we") is a free app for Wix sites that shows a progress bar toward a fundraising goal. This policy explains what data the app uses and why. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

Data from site visitors

The app does not collect or store personal data about visitors. To show the progress bar, it reads the goal from the site's Wix account on the server and sends only what the widget shows to the visitor's browser: the title, the goal, the amount raised, the number of donations, the dates, the labels, the colors and the donate link.

Data from site owners

• Goal settings (title, amounts, currency, end date, donate link and look) are stored in a data collection on the site's own Wix account, not on servers of ours.
• If you connect a Wix Donations campaign, the app reads the campaign's name, goal, end date, creation date and status, and its totals: the amount raised and the number of donations. Before the first donation it reads the site's currency to show the amount. It does not read who donated or any donor details. The last totals are stored in the same collection with the time they were read, so the bar loads quickly.
• If you ask Aria about your goal, the app returns the goal details of the current site to Aria inside Wix.

We do not use cookies or browser storage, we do not track visitors, we do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising.

Where data is processed

The app runs on Wix hosting, and data stays in the site's Wix account. Wix acts as our service provider. If you email us, we use your message and address only to answer you.

Retention, access and deletion

Settings stay on the site until the site owner changes them in the app. Removing the app takes the progress bar off the site. Wix may keep or delete the app's data collection under its own rules. To ask a question about your data, email us.
