Make Offer Button privacy policy

Make Offer Button ("the app", "we") is an app for Wix stores that lets shoppers offer a price on a product. This policy explains what data the app uses and why. The store owner decides how offers are answered and is responsible for the shoppers' data in their store.

Data from shoppers

• When a shopper makes an offer, the app stores their email address, offered price, optional message, language and the product. The data is stored in a data collection on the store's own Wix site, not on servers of ours.
• The email address is used only to send the store's answer to that offer. The app does not send marketing emails.
• The personal payment link is stored only as a one-way hash.

Data from store owners

• Settings, minimum prices and automatic answers are stored in data collections on the store's own Wix site.
• The app reads product names, prices, variants and stock, and creates checkouts for accepted offers, through Wix. It reads orders to mark offers as ordered.
• The app reads the app plan from Wix to apply plan limits. It does not store it.
• If you ask Aria about your offers, the app returns offer details of the current site to Aria inside Wix: product name, prices, status and dates. Shopper emails and messages are not included.

We do not use cookies or browser storage, we do not track visitors, we do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising.

Where data is processed

The app runs on Wix hosting, and data stays in the store's Wix account. Emails are sent through Wix. Wix acts as our service provider. If you email us, we use your message and address only to answer you.

Retention, access and deletion

Offers stay in the store until the store owner deletes them. The app has no automatic deletion period. Store owners can delete any offer in the app at any time, and should do so when a shopper asks. Shoppers should contact the store first. Wix warns that removing an app also removes its data. To ask about your data, email us, and we will answer within a reasonable time.
