Quantity Discounts privacy policy

Quantity Discounts ("the app", "we") is an app for Wix stores that gives shoppers a lower price when they buy more. This policy explains what data the app uses and why.

Data from shoppers

The app does not collect or store personal data about shoppers. The table on the product page uses the selected product, variant and quantity in the browser. To decide whether a discount applies, Wix asks the app whether it is installed and which plan is active. That request is not used to identify shoppers.

Data from store owners

• Offers (name, products, tiers) are stored in a data collection on the store's own Wix site, not on servers of ours. Offers are readable by site visitors, because the product page shows them.
• The app creates and deletes automatic discounts in the store through Wix, and reads them to warn you if one was turned off.
• The app reads product names and prices through Wix to let you choose products and to show prices in the table.
• The app reads the app plan from Wix to apply plan limits. It keeps it in memory for a few minutes and does not store it.
• If you ask Aria about your offers, the app returns offer details of the current site to Aria inside Wix.

We do not use cookies or browser storage, we do not track visitors, we do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising.

Where data is processed

The app runs on Wix hosting, and data stays in the store's Wix account. Wix acts as our service provider. If you email us, we use your message and address only to answer you.

Retention, access and deletion

Offers stay in the store until the store owner deletes them in the app. Removing the app does not delete the automatic discounts it created: they stop applying, and the store owner can delete them in Automatic Discounts. Wix may keep or delete the app's collection under its own rules for removed apps.
