Subscriber Counter for YouTube privacy policy

Last updated: November 2, 2026

Subscriber Counter for YouTube ("the app", "we") is an app for Wix sites that shows a card with a YouTube channel and its subscriber count. This policy explains what data the app uses and why. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

Data from site visitors

The app does not collect or store personal data about visitors. To show the card, it reads the card from the site's Wix account on the server and sends it to the visitor's browser. Requests to the YouTube API are made by the app's server, not from the visitor's browser. The channel image on the card loads from YouTube's image servers in the visitor's browser, without sending the page address, so those servers receive the visitor's IP address, as with any image.

Data from site owners

We do not use cookies or browser storage, we do not track visitors, we do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising.

YouTube API Services

The app uses YouTube API Services to read public data of the YouTube channel you add. It does not access your YouTube account. The app sends the channel handle or ID from your link to YouTube. See the Google Privacy Policy. Stored data is refreshed daily while visitors view the card, and data older than 30 days is no longer shown. To remove it, remove the channel link from the card or the app from your site. You can also revoke any Google access at Google security settings, although the app does not ask for access to your Google account.

Where data is processed

The app runs on Wix hosting, and data stays in the site's Wix account. Wix acts as our service provider. If you email us, we use your message and address only to answer you.

Retention, access and deletion

Settings stay on the site until the site owner changes them in the app. Removing the app takes the card off the site. Wix may keep or delete the app's data collection under its own rules. To ask a question about your data, email us.
