Staff Pay Calculator privacy policy

Staff Pay Calculator ("the app", "we") is an app for Wix sites that estimates staff pay from Wix Bookings data. This policy explains what data the app uses and why. The site owner decides how the results are used.

Data about clients

• To calculate pay, the app reads the site's bookings through Wix. Wix returns each booking with the client's contact details. The app ignores those details: it does not store them, show them in the dashboard, put them in reports or pass them to Aria.
• From each booking, the app uses the service, staff member, dates, number of participants, attendance, payment status and price. These are used only while building a report and are not stored.

Data about staff members

• The app reads staff names and the sessions they lead. It shows them to the site owner and in the CSV file the site owner chooses to download.
• Pay rules, which can include a person's rates, are stored in a data collection on the site's own Wix site. Only the app's server can read or change them.

Data from site owners

• The app reads service names and prices through Wix, and reads the app plan to apply plan limits. It does not store them.
• If the site owner uses Aria, the Wix assistant, it can read the pay rules and pay estimates per staff member through the app, to answer the owner's questions. It does not get clients' details.

We do not use cookies or browser storage, we do not track visitors, we do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising. The app adds nothing to the public pages of the site.

Where data is processed

The app runs on Wix hosting, and data stays in the site's Wix account. Wix acts as our service provider. If you email us, we use your message and address only to answer you.

Retention, access and deletion

Pay rules stay on the site until the site owner deletes them in the app or removes them from the site's collections. The app has no automatic deletion period. Reports are not stored: a CSV file is kept wherever the site owner saves it, and the site owner is responsible for it. Site owners should tell staff members how their pay data is handled.
