Wholesale Prices privacy policy

Wholesale Prices ("the app", "we") is an app for Wix stores that lets site members apply for wholesale pricing and lets approved customers receive a discount. This policy explains what data the app uses and why. The store owner decides who is approved and is responsible for customers' data in their store.

Data from customers

• When a site member applies, the app stores their member ID, name, company, email address, optional message, language and application status. The data is stored in a data collection on the store's own Wix site, not on servers of ours.
• The name, company and email address are sent to the store owner by email so they can review the application. The email address is also used to tell the customer the store's decision. The app does not send marketing emails.
• To apply the discount, the app checks the member ID in the cart against the store's approved customers. Guests are not looked up.

Data from store owners

• The discount name, size and selected products are stored in a data collection on the store's own Wix site.
• The app creates an automatic discount in the store, reads product names and prices through Wix, and reads the site owner's email address to send application notices.
• The app reads the app plan from Wix to apply plan limits. It does not store it.
• If the store owner uses Aria, the Wix assistant, it can read the discount settings and the names, companies and statuses of customers through the app, to answer the owner's questions. It does not get customers' email addresses.

We do not use cookies or browser storage, we do not track visitors, we do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising.

Where data is processed

The app runs on Wix hosting, and data stays in the store's Wix account. Emails are sent through Wix. Wix acts as our service provider. If you email us, we use your message and address only to answer you.

Retention, access and deletion

Applications stay in the store until the store owner deletes them. The app has no automatic deletion period. Store owners can delete any customer in the app at any time, and should do so when a customer asks. Customers should contact the store first. Wix warns that removing an app also removes its data. To ask about your data, email us, and we will answer within a reasonable time.
