ZIP Delivery Checker terms and conditions

These terms apply to your use of the ZIP Delivery Checker app ("the app") on your Wix site. By installing the app you accept them. Your use of Wix itself is covered by the terms of Wix.

The service

The app shows a delivery check on your product pages: shoppers enter a ZIP code or postcode and see whether you deliver there, with the delivery time, estimated cost and note you set for that delivery area. It lists the codes shoppers checked outside your areas. If you turn it on, it also checks the delivery address at checkout and warns shoppers or stops orders to addresses outside your areas. The app does not take payments, does not change your products, prices or shipping rates, and does not deliver anything.

Your delivery areas and answers

You set every delivery area, code, delivery time, cost and note, and you are responsible for keeping them correct and for delivering as promised. The delivery cost the app shows is an estimate you enter; shoppers pay what your shipping settings charge at checkout. When codes match several areas, the first area in your list wins.

Add regions and Add by distance fill areas from postal code data built into the app: U.S. Census Bureau data for the United States and GeoNames data (geonames.org, CC BY 4.0, modified) for nine European countries. This data may be incomplete or out of date: for example, P.O. box-only ZIP codes are not included, and distance is measured between postal code centers, not by road. Review the codes before you save them.

Checkout check

The checkout check is off by default. If you choose not to allow orders outside your areas, shoppers with an address outside them can't complete the order, so use it only if you deliver just to these areas. Store pickup and orders with only digital items are not checked. If the app can't read your settings at checkout, it lets the order through rather than block it. We do not promise that every checkout setup, delivery option or address format is recognized; test your checkout after setup.

Plans and price

The app has one paid plan with a free trial. Shoppers see the check, and the checkout check works, only while your trial or plan is active; you can set up everything before that. Plans, prices, trials, billing, renewals and refunds are handled by Wix under its terms, as shown when you upgrade.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the app reliable, but it is provided "as is", without warranties, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that every theme or page layout shows the check; check your product pages after setup. We may update the app and these terms. Material changes will apply going forward. The app is independent and is not made or endorsed by Wix.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost sales, orders you could not deliver or claims arising from your delivery areas, from the postal code data or from your dealings with shoppers. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.
